In Memory of Donald L. Finch Deceased May 28, 2008 Mr. Finch was a member of the Korean War Veterans Western New York Chapter of Kenmore, New York, a founding member of F.A.C.T.S., Inc. with Ralph Krieger, Jim Rauch and Tom Schafer and a member of the Master Builder Lodge #911 Free & Accepted Masons. Mr. Finch was a retiree from Praxir/Union Carbide Corporation, Linde Division. (Don served on the Arcadia AD 23 during the Korean War)

WE ARE A GROUP OF RESIDENTS/PAST RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY OF BELLEVUE. Bellevue sits on the South side of the Town of Cheektowaga in the State of New York.
• West Valley Coalition launches Digitup campaign The DOE has decided to violate the court ordered environmental review process at West Valley and to leave much of the waste at this physically unsuitable site. The Coalition on West Valley Nuclear Wastes has responded with an internet campaign and a public interest lawsuit to protect citizens' rights to fair process in these decisions.
• Concerned Citizens of Cattaraugus County, Inc. Our goal is to keep the public armed with information not generally distributed by government officials or private corporations.
• Tonawanda Nuclear Site Information Tonawanda Nuclear Site Info is a public service of James Rauch. A scientist by inclination and training (SUNYaB, B.S. Pharmacy, 1974, summa cum laude), Mr. Rauch has advocated public interest solutions to deal with health and environmental quality problems for the past twenty years.

  His participation in public review processes includes state acid rain regulations, organic chemicals in drinking water, NYS Air Implementation Plan, and cleanup of three local nuclear waste sites: the Niagara Falls Storage Site, West Valley, and the Tonawanda Site. He was the only member of the public to review and comment on all three parts (RI/BRA/FS) of the U.S. Energy Department's 1993 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Tonawanda Site.

  Together with Don Finch and Ralph Krieger, he helped to form the F.A.C.T.S. (For A Clean Tonawanda Site) public interest watchdog group in 1994. From the outset, Mr. Rauch has served as a technical advisor to the organization. The organization was incorporated in October 1997 by Don Finch, Ralph Krieger, and Tom Schafer.

• Alliance for Nuclear Accountability Founded in 1987 under the name Military Production Network, the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability (ANA) is a network of more than 30 local, regional and national peace and environmental groups representing the concerns of communities in the shadows of the U.S. nuclear weapons sites and radioactive waste dumps. We have effectively worked to open up the operations of the U.S. Department of Energy to help shut down polluting, obsolete and unsafe facilities, and to stop nuclear weapons testing as well as the construction of many new bomb production plants
• Concerned Citizens for Nuclear Safety (CCNS) is an organization focused on increasing public awareness concerning the issues posed by radioactivity and the nuclear industry.
• DOE Watch - dedicated to exposing the real issues on health, immune diseases, environment, toxics, and nuclear issues in the DOE and DOD systems and the former USAEC.
• Downwinders - a research and educational foundation established in 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to expose the plight of downwind residents whose fallout exposures have caused cancers, leukemia, and other illnesses, and to obtain justice for their injuries.
• IEER (Institute for Energy and Environmental Research) - excellent source for: current developments on a range of nuclear issues, and technical information made understandable to the layman activist
• Nuclear Information and Resource Service NIRS is the information and networking center for citizens and environmental organizations concerned about nuclear power, radioactive waste, radiation, and sustainable energy issues.

• Pennsylvania Environmental Network (PEN) Pennsylvania Environmental Network is a network of grassroots environmental groups throughout the state. These groups are fighting everything from landfills, incinerators, nuclear dumps and sludge spreading on farmlands to logging and mining or development battles. PEN is a clearinghouse for information and technical expertise on organizing and on various issues of interest to the grassroots. We have 13 leadership networks which help citizens network and address important issues.
